An Eastwood care home has successfully improved in several areas to achieve almost full marks in their recent inspection.
During an inspection in June, Eastwood House on Church Street had previously failed on three out of five areas and were told to improve.
However, in September the nursing home was inspected again and it was announced that they had met standards in four of the five areas, and they now only need to revise the way they assess and monitor their care services.
The inspector said in his report: “People who used the service told us they were treated with kindness. Throughout the day of our inspection we found staff were friendly and caring in their approach.”
