Hazel Charlesworth was made the Mayor of Eastwood in a meeting this week. The councillor, previously deputy mayor, said she was pleased to be the town’s new mayor, and was looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead. “I am look forward to it and would like to see the council move into new accommodation some time over the next year.” Cllr Charlesworth also said she hoped to see the council working better as a team, with less bickering.
