Anniversary for group
A LUNG support group celebrated its third anniversary in Eastwood last week.
The Breathe Easy group, who help support people with lung conditions and their carers, marked the milestone with a small party a birthday cake and a game of bingo.
Sue Bradley, the wife of a group member who recently passed away, presented a cheque for £320 to a representative from the British Lung Foundation in memory of her husband and Jane Reeve was voted in as the new chairwoman during a meeting held before the party.
The group now has 25 members.
The next meeting will be on March 14.
