Burglars target houses in Brinsley

Two properties in Brinsley have been broken into over the last couple of weeks.

Intruders forced a back window to get into a house in Church Walk on February 25 at 8pm. Nothing was stolen, and police say the culprits may have been disturbed.

Last week burglars forced a back window in Clumber Avenue.

The owners of the property were unsure if anything had been taken at the time of reporting it to police.

It happened some time between February 27 at 11am and noon the following day.

Last month we reported crime had gone up in Brinsley since last year.

Call 101 with information about either incident.
