Cafe raises money for Help for Heroes

Eats ‘n’ Treats cafe in Eastwood is selling books to raise money for Help for Heroes.

Next week, beginning October 15, the Nottingham Road caf will be fundraising again for the soldiers’ charity.
Manager Elaine Harrison has been raising for Help for Heroes all year and has so far raised £369.

“I’ve been doing it all year and just want to finish it off with a book sale,” she said.

“It’s a worthwhile cause and something a lot of people have been very good about.”

Elaine fundraised for the charity the week the Royal Engineers marched through the town.

If anybody has any books to donate for the sale they should drop them in to the cafe.
