Captain says farewell at awards ceremony
Nuthall’s 32nd boys brigade recently had its annual awards presentation where the leader of 14 years, David Tantum, handed his reins over.
In an emotional speech, David spoke about his pride at being captain to one of ‘Nottinghamshire ‘s finest brigades’.
Handing his reins over to Pete Bales, David said: “I have been privileged to be in charge of a magnificent group of young people who have amazed me with their willingness to learn, listen and achieve. These people are a shining example to all.”
George Adlam, James Harvey, Archie Wilson, Joe Kidd, Jack Kendall, and Jonathon Langford had awards.
