Cash fillip for charity from supermarket

Staff at Asda in Langley Mill presented a schoolgirl with a cheque for £200 on behalf of a local charity.

The cause Ben’s Den won the supermarket’s green token scheme and 15-year-old Sophia York (pictured) was presented with the cheque by staff. The teenager nominated the charity for the boost.
