Cash raised for hospital

Greasley Parish Council has presented a cheque to staff at the Breast Institute at Nottingham City Hospital.

The £345 was raised at a family fun day held earlier this year at the Greasley Sports Centre.

The event was held to show support for the breast screening unit, which used the sports centre car park to provide a service to the local community. The NHS is now installing mains electricity, water and drainage for the mobile unit at Newthorpe.
