AN amateur drama group has raised money for a Kimberley charity set up after a teenager died of a brain tumour.

The Nottingham West Music and Drama Society has just finished its production of Guys and Dolls at The Kimberley School.

Throughout the week the cast held a charity raffle and had collection buckets out – managing to raise £586 for the Ryan Lee Trust Fund.

Cast member Gillian Williams said: “It was an absolute pleasure to help to raise so much money for such a worthy cause.”

The Ryan Lee Trust Fund was set up by Debbie Lee after her 15-year-old son died last year to raise money to help young cancer sufferers to be treated at home.
