Celebratory open day for WI

Proud of Team GB’s achievements in the Olympics, Eastwood and Brinsley Women’s Institute held a celebratory open day as a tribute to ‘Britain’s finest’ sportsmen and women.

WI president Maureen Bradley and other group members welcomed visitors and appealed for new members.

The hosts manned a variety of stalls while raising money to support the group’s activities and events.

The WI meet at the Dora Philips Hall in Eastwood.
