A WOMAN has raised £470 with an indoor bungee jump for a charity that helps grieving parents.

Claire Jenkinson, who works at Kimberley Funeral Service, made the 150ft leap in Rotherham, on Saturday, for the Stillbirth And Neonatal Death Society (SANDS) which improves care for parents whose baby has died within the first four weeks of life.

Claire’s school friend of Katie Dowler tragically lost her son Jonah who died stillborn last year.

The 27-year-old said: “It was the most terrifying thing I have ever done. I set myself a target of £300 and have been overwhelmed by the support and how much more I got.”
