Competition winners sleep over in Ikea store
COMPETITION winners slept over in the IKEA store to mark the opening of the new mattress studio and bed textiles department.
During the night the ten lucky customers did a late night trolley dash, had a midnight feast, took part in a bed making competition and were treated to free goodie bags, a film screening and breakfast in bed the next day.
They all got to take home all of their bedding they slept in.
Everyone chose their bed in the bedrooms department, and then picked their own brand new bedding, most of which was from IKEA's new range.
IKEA asked entrants to write in explaining why they would love to sleep in the store and why IKEA staff should pick them as winners.
Amy Binch who works at the store said: "There were so many great entries that it was a tough decision, but the IKEA team chose well and all of the winners got on really well and thoroughly enjoyed the experience."
The winners slept over in store last Saturday, August 21.
