Contracts exchanged

A £9.4mllion boost for elderly care moved closer after Nottinghamshire County Council exchanged contracts with Runwood Homes for the transfer of six residential care homes this week.

The exchange of contracts marks the conditional completion of the deal, which includes a guarantee that the homes will stay open and fees for existing residents will remain at agreed County Council rates for a minimum of three years.

All employees will transfer to Runwood on existing terms and conditions.
