Early deadline for voter registration

Residents are being asked to return their electoral registration forms two months earlier this year to ensure they don’t lose their right to vote in this year’s election to appoint Nottinghamshire’s first Police and Crime Commissioner.

People will shortly receive their 2013 electoral registration form and will be asked to return their completed form as soon as possible before Friday 5 October to vote in the election, which will be held on Thursday 15 November.

Anyone who wants to confirm their details are unchanged can log onto www.elecreg.co.uk/broxtowe, sending a text to 07786 209 357, calling freephone 0808 284 1457 or return the form using the pre-paid envelope provided.
