Eastwood Lock on the Nottingham Canal

This is a picture of Eastwood Lock on the Nottingham Canal, near to the MFN nightclub.

Sandra Bailey, of Moorfields Avenue, Eastwood, took the photo when she was out walking.

She said: “My neighbour told me their was a swan and 10 signets swimming down there and I wanted to try to see if I could find her to take photos.”

Mrs Bailey said the canal was a ‘lovely peaceful place to take a walk’ and she regularly takes her children there.

“It’s great seeing my kids look for wildlife. They love searching for the ducks, moorhens, butterflies and dragonflies.”
