Expert advice for farmers and landowners

EXPERT ADVICE will be on offer to local farmers and landowners across Broxtowe at a special networking event later this month.

Broxtowe Borough Council will host the event on January 30 at Attenborough Nature Centre for anyone owning or managing land near Broxtowe, Erewash or Amber Valley.

The informal event will give landowners and farmers an opportunity to get expert advice on a number of issues such as grant opportunities and ways to save costs, rights of way, wildlife and invasive species management and renewable technologies such as solar power and wind turbines, as well as updates on local projects.

Following the success of previous events, the council has worked with partner organisations to give local landowners support, as well as provide opportunities to share ideas and network.

Refreshments will be on offer from 6.30pm, with presentations to start at 7pm.

For more information and to secure your place, please contact Broxtowe Borough Council on 0115 917 3742, email env@broxtowe.gov.uk or visit www.broxtowe.gov.uk
