Funding for inflateable goals

Nuthall Youth Football Club has been given funding to buy specially inflateable goals for training.

Philip Owen, who represents Nuthall on Nottinghamshire County Council, presented the club with a cheque for £500 from his divisional fund to help meet the cost

Cllr Owen, also the county council’s chairman for children and young people’s services, said: “Nuthall Youith Club hsa made giant strides since its formation and now provides for the needs of mre than 100 young footballers. I am very happy to help their cause.”

The club runs more than ten teams.
