Kids enjoy family day
PETS and their owners enjoyed Babbington Rescue Centre's family fun day and helped to raise more than £2,000 for the centre.
Owner Tony Sanderson said: "The event was phenomenal in terms of attendance.
"Even with a torrential downpour halfway through the day people stayed and enjoyed themselves.
"The new cafeteria was a big hit during the rain."
The fun day was held to show off the newly refurbished centre and encourage more people to think about adopting a pet.
At first count Tony said the centre has raised approximately 2,500.
