Kids win council competition

Two children were presented with top prizes by Broxtowe Mayor Margaret Handley after winning the ‘Challenge 5’ competition.

Children were challenged by Broxtowe Borough Council to do five of a possible 22 activities, which included cheerleading, attending play days, playing badminton and scuba diving.

Presented at Eastwood’s Lawrence Centre, first prize, an iPad, went to Thomas Wright and second prize, a PlayStation 2 went to Patrick Ramsey.
