Kids hitting right notes at music club
UNUSUAL instruments were the order of the day at Aldercar Infant and Nursery School's magical music club.
The event was made possible by a grant from the Big Lottery Fund, which will also be used to extend the after school clubs and to introduce 'forest school' activities, so pupils can learn outdoors in woodland areas.
Geoffrey Jumper led the music club and a mad science group.
Puppet-making and t'ai chi will be held in the future.
Headteacher Gayle Shiels: "This grant has made all this possible and gives our children the opportunity to try new and different ways of learning and having fun."
