Kimbrley Farmers’ Market anniversary

A band will be playing in Kimberley’s Toll Bar Square next weekend to mark the third anniversary of the town’s farmers’ market.

Between 9am and 1pm tomorrow, October 6, there will be all the usual stalls and new ones selling hand made cards and bird-related crafts.

The anniversary market will be combined with a host of other events going on in the town for the finale of the Great Kimberley Book Read.

Market administrator Sue Cooper said this should make the anniversary market ‘a very special event’.

Children will parade through the town dressed as book characters and Broxtowe MP Anna Soubry will be at the library to present prizes.
