Marie Curie starts biggest fundraiser

Marie Curie Cancer Care in Kimberley has just launched its biggest fundraiser of the year.

The office in Main Street, responsible for fundraising across Nottinghamshire, launched the annual Great Daffodil Appeal on March 1.

The appeal encourages everyone to support people with a terminal illness by giving a donation and wearing a daffodil pin throughout March.

All funds raised will help Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care to local people in their own home.

Daffodil pins can be picked up from local stores, Marie Curie volunteer collectors, and Marie Curie shops.

The office in Kimberley’s Main Street also manages the fundraising for Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
