Microchip your dog

Dog owners can get their pets microchipped at Coronation Park in Eastwood for £5 on Sunday.

Held at the Coronation park pavilion between noon and 3pm, the drop in session is one of two in the borough.

A microchip can significantly increases owners’ chances of being reunited with their animals should they become lost or stray.

Dog owners do not need to make an appointment to microchip their animal and can turn up on the day. Dogs are required to wear a collar and lead.
