Milkman stopped thief
A milkman fended off a thief who tried to steal his wallet while he was on his round.
He managed to get back the wallet from the male offender after he struck on Church Street South, Chesterfield, about 6.30pm on Friday evening.
A man was arrested shortly afterwards but has since been bailed pending further inquiries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident, which took place near Church Street South's with Byton Road, to contact them by calling 0345 123 3333.
