Nuthall burglaries

Burglars have been targeting houses in Nuthall over the last week.

Some time between midnight and 6am on October 29 the front door to a property in Nottingham Road was forced open.

The burglary was discovered by the postman and the home owners said they were unsure what was taken.

The panel in a front door in Springfield Drive was kicked in on October 23.

Intruders got into a house in Kimberley Road on October 28 at about 7.30pm and stole a handbag.

It was later found discarded in a property at some new developments nearby.

They had got in through an unlocked kitchen door.

The residents had heard their dog barking loudly at the time.

Burglars broke into a property in Hammersmith Close on October 30 some time between 7pm and 10.40pm. An untidy search was carried out and several items were stolen.

Maple Drive was targeted by burglars on the same day some time between 10.30am and 9.30pm.
