This is Rev Hobson being photographed at an official ceremony to dedicate the new chancel at the church.

He can be seen here with the Lord Bishop of Southwell Rev Barry, who laid the stone, and other senior church figures.

Rev Hobson lived at the vicarage with his wife and son.
