An information and activities event was hosted in Brinsley to mark Older People’s Day.

Held at the bowls pavilion, there was a special exercise taster session, tips and advice on healthy eating and information on local walks.

This year’s events marked the sixth UK Older People’s Day, which aimed to celebrate the contributions older people make to our society.
