Parish councils to unite

A meeting has been organised for local parish councils to get together and discuss the ‘death trap’ junction on the A610 in Eastwood.

Eastwood Town Council has written to parish councils and the local MP calling for them to attend a meeting at Kimberley Parish Hall on October 29 to discuss the number of accidents at the black spot, and launch a campaign to try and get something done.

Steve Brunt attended an Eastwood Town Council meeting last month where he suggested councils unite to persuade the highways authority to install cameras and warning signs on the road.
