Priority areas for Kimberley police

Crime priorities for Kimberley over the next three months include vehicle nuisance, anti-social behaviour and environmental issues.

They were set at a meeting of the Safer Neighbourhood Committee meeting last Thursday where officers were joined by councillors and residents.

Among the top issues raised were problems with illegal parking, speeding, off-road motorbikes and mini motos.

As well as anti-social behaviour, residents also complained about dog fouling, litter and fly tipping.

Residents are now being urged to start filling in the neighbourhood alerts again at www.neighbourhoodalert.co.uk to help set the future crime priorities.
