PUPILS at a Nuthall infant school have packed up present boxes full of goodies to be sent abroad.

Children at Larkfields Infant School donated the shoeboxes full of toys, toileteries and stationary to Operation Christmas Child, a scheme run by charity Samaritan’s Purse.

The boxes are now making their way to children in countries including Bosnia and Kosovo.

Last year more than one million shoeboxes were donated in the UK.
