A possible rogue trader was reported knocking on doors in Birch Close this week.

The man, reported just after 1pm Monday, told one resident he was an ex-serviceman, and another that he had recently been released from prison.

Police came out and asked him to leave the area.

Police National Computer checks revealed he was a potential rogue trader who may target the elderly.
