School visit for harvest giving

Eastwood MP Gloria De Piero will visit kids at Brinsley Primary School today, Friday October 12, to donate tins of food and bulbs.

The donations of plant bulbs will be used in a special community project the school is entering, supporting the elderly with their gardening. It is designed to encourage community cohesion and teach children about the community they live in. The tins of food will be taken to the Eastwood Volunteer Bureau and distributed locally.

During the tour Gloria will also be invited to spend time in each if the five different classes and be given the chance to meet all the teachers and kids.
