Swing singer on target to raise £100,000 for charity

A SWING singer performing 366 gigs in as many days looks set to make £100,000 for charity by the time he finishes his year-long tour next April.

Ian Campbell, otherwise known as Frankie, is a third of the way througn the nationwide tour and has already raised 33,419 for Help the Heroes. The singer, also a Kimberley town councillor, said when he started out earlier this year he only expected to raise 18,000 in total, or 50 per show, and cannot believe how much he has raised and how generous people have been.

Mr Campbell is currently in Wales.
