Taxi driver praises ‘caring teachers’

A Kimberley taxi driver has praised a school teacher who personally paid to get a group of kids home who were stuck in the snow last week.

Paul Morley, who works for A2B, ferried the girls to the other side of Nottingham when their bus did not turn up last week ii the snow.

He described the teacher’s efforts as ‘fantastic’.

“With all the bad news you get I just thought that was fantastic. You don’t get much of that nowadays and I thought it was great. It was all her own endevour.

“It just goes to show that the local schools care and do a good job,” he addded.

The teacher’s name was Gemma and she worked at The Kimberley School.
