Team Revolution dancers scoops 17 trophies

Awsworth’s Team Revolution dance group scooped 17 trophies at the Nottingham Dance Festival.

More than 500 competitiors from dance schools all over the country took part in the festival, held in Clifton.

Group principal Nichola Buckley, from Giltbrook, said she was ‘extremely proud’ of everyone.

“I was quitely confident that we would be successful in some of the categories, but what was achieved was beyond our wildest dreams. The girls have worked so hard on their routines and all the effort they put in was duly rewarded.”

Among the award and trophy winners were Autumn and India Wingate, Nevaya Gilbert-Hodelin and her brother Amarri, Georgia Smith, Evie Stevens, Mia Gidlow and Emily Johnson.
