I would like to thank everybody who gave up their time and energy to help me organise a winter fair and coffee morning which was held on December 8 last year, at Beauvale Methodist church, Hilltop, in aid of Nottingham City Hospital’s specialist breast institute.

Due to the wonderful efforts and many generous people who came along and supported us.

We were able to raise £731.19, which has already gone to the hospital to help in some small way to make someone’s life a little better.

I would also like to mention the staff at Tesco Express, Hilltop, who very generously donated chocolates and biscuits towards the raffle.

Although I have recently retired from the Cats Protection I will still be doing fundraising for them and would like to thank Morrisons Eastwood for letting us continue to have a food bin in their store, and both Morrisons and Sainsbury’s in Kimberley for allowing us to do cash collections.
