The gardens at Underwood’s Felley Priory

This picture of Felley Priory in Underwood was taken by reader Sandra Bailey.

“What a stunning place it is, and the gardens are beautiful,” she said.

The gardens are open all year Tuesday to Friday 9am to 4pm and every first and third Sunday in the month between February and October.

Felley Priory Gardens are situated just half a mile from Junction 27 of the M1. Take the A608 to Heanor for half a mile and the entrance to Felley Priory is on the left.
