Thieves force a window

Two burglars were disturbed as they tried to break into a property in Langley Mill.

The intruders were disturbed trying to force a ground floor window with some tools at a property in Bailey Brook Drive.

They ran off empty handed when they realised they had been spotted.

The pair are described as being in their early 20s, thin with very short hair.

One was wearing a long parker-style coat.

The incident happened this week, on October 2, at about 9.30pm in the evening.

No arrests have been made.
