What services are in the town?

Kimberley Parish Hall

Kimberley Parish Hall

People in Kimberley will be able to find out more about public services available in the town in a ‘community information event’ on March 6.

Broxtowe Borough Council is encouraging local people to come along to meet representatives from their local council and uniformed services, where they can pick up

a freebie and find out more about services available in their area.

The event in Kimberley is one of two being held in the borough and will take place at the parish hall in Newdigate Street from 2pm until 3pm.

Representatives will be on hand from Broxtowe Borough Council, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue, Nottinghamshire Police, the Health Service and several other agencies.

Employees from each organisation will have a wide range of information and freebies for anyone wanting to find out more about services or anyone looking for answers to a specific issue affecting them.

The second event is in Chilwell,
