Woman calls on council to donate more for skate park

At an Eastwood Town Council meeting this week a member of the public called on councillors to show more support for a skate park project being run by pupils at Eastwood Comprehensive School.

Vicki Jones said a new skate park for the town was a ‘worthwhile’ project and felt the council should donate more than £200.

The SKRaise project is well on the way to achieving its fundraising target to create a new community facility for the town.
