A CREATIVE textile group is hosting an exhibition at the DH Lawrence Centre in Eastwood at the end of this month.
The Second Turning Textile Group will exhibit vibrant and varied textile pieces between June 23 and July 10.
The group has exhibited in Eastwood once before and will return with their latest two- and three-dimensional pieces of work in an exhibition at the centre’s Rainbow Gallery called Threads That Bind.
The pieces will include wall hangings, jewellery, bags and pincushions and they will showcase a range of techniques, including appliqué, hand embroidery, beadwork and felting.
The techniques were used alongside paint and dye to produce a range of different effects and textures.
Admission to the exhibition will cost £3.
