‘Fake doctor’ sex attack case

A 53-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting two elderly women – including one in Eastwood – after calling at their homes claiming to be a doctor.

Christopher Hayball, of Mansfield Road, in Heath, near Chesterfield, was charged with two counts of sexual touching in August.

He appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday last week, November 16.

He is alleged to have assaulted the women after claiming to be their doctor and being let into their homes.

An Eastwood woman, aged 74, and an 89-year-old from Sutton-in-Ashfield, were alleged to have been assaulted.

The hearing was adjourned and Hayball will now appear at crown court on Friday for a further hearing. He was remanded in custody.
