KIMBERLEY Pensioners’ Association invited three special guests to its Christmas party.
The deputy mayor of Broxtowe Jacky Williams went along, as well as Kimberley Town Council chairman Shane Easom and Roy Plumb, a local shopkeeper and historian.
The group enjoyed a Christmas dinner and a talk called ‘Can You Remember’ which took visitors on a trip down memory lane.
Cllr Williams ended the evening on a high note after presenting the group with a grant aid cheque for £100.
Kimberley Pensioners’ Association meet each week at the parish hall in Newdigate Street.
