Fire service freeze council tax

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has decided to freeze council tax in next year’s budget.

This means that Band D households will pay £69.69 a year for their fire and rescue services. Band A properties will pay £46.46 and Band B will pay £54.20 for the year.

Fire authority chair Darrell Pulk said: “We are aware that residents are facing their own financial pressures and members have therefore decided not to increase the amount they pay.”
