The Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire presented a Giltbrook firm with a special award at its centenary celebrations last week.
Sir Andrew Buchanan presented bosses at Payne with a Queens Award as they celebrated 100 years in business.
The director of the Giltbrook Industrial Estate firm was invited to Buckingham Palace after the firm won a Queens Award for enterprise back in April.
The firm won an Innovation Award for developing a cutting edge covert authentication-system to detect counterfeiting and smuggling activities in the UK.
The centenery celebrations last Friday, September 16, were also attended by Broxtowe MP Anna Soubry, Broxtowe Mayor Jacky Williams, chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council Keith Walker, and councillor for Giltbrook and Newthorpe, Margaret Handley.
The company also won a Queens Award in 1993.
