A CHARITY fundraising day is being held at Sainsburys in Kimberley tomorrow, Saturday, September 17.
There will be face painting, a tombola, a cake stall and a fire engine in the car park for the kids to look around.
The store in Greens Lane will be raising money for its chosen charity for the year, The Ryan Lee Trust Fund.
The fund was set up by Debbie Lee after her son Ryan died of a brain tumour last year.
Sainsburys worker Angie Sheldon said: “This is sort of our launch date for the charity really. The first big date that we’ve done. We’ve had the buckets at the tills, but because of the re-fit in store we’ve had to wait to do a proper big event.
“It’s a fun day to get the whole community involved and it should be good. I would love to raise at least £500.”
