Fun in the sun at town play days

The popular annual summer play days will return to Eastwood and Kimberley this month.

Run by Broxtowe Borough Council, there will be fun packed adventure, arts, sports and surprises for children.

Following popular demand the giant crazy cottage inflatable will be back and kids can try their hand at circus skills, KMX Karting and drumming. There will be a special under fives tent and the council’s leisure centre teams will be encouraging people to get active.

The Eastwood event will be held on the playing field at Eastwood Comprehensive School on August 13 and the Kimberley event will be held on the playing field at the Kimberley School on August 16.

A further two events will be held in the borough’s other two main towns – Beeston and Stapleford.
