Ilkeston Running Club will stage its eighth Double or Quit race in Shipley Country Park on Saturday.
The event, which starts at 5pm, will raise cash for lung cancer care at the Royal Derby Hospital.
The annual race sees runners complete a 5 mile lap of the park before deciding whether to double and complete another lap or quit.
Peter Ennis from Ilkeston Running Club said: “We would like to invite runners of all abilities to take part in this event for a fantastic cause.”
Entry to the race is £10. For information visit www.ilkestonrunningclub.co.uk or call Peter on 07739 717185.
