Nuthall and District First Responders, which provides invaluable support to East Midlands Ambulance Service, has been given a welcome New Year boost by Nottinghamshire county councillor Philip Owen. Coun Owen presented a sum of £500 from his divisional fund (which helps local groups and organisations) towards the purchase of a defibrillator machine. The life-saving equipment is crucial to the needs of the First Responders, whose representatives Pete Winson and Derek Burnett accepted the cheque.
