An event in Eastwood to raise awareness of domestic violence was said to be a huge success.
34 men wore heels and walked the streets of Eastwood in the event, organised by Broxtowe Women’s Project.
The group raised £150 in collection tins, and a further £200 in sponsorship.
Those taking part included firefighters from Eastwood, local councillors and the Nottinghamshire crime commissioner’s deputy, Chris Cutland.
Lisa Dann at Broxtowe Women’s Project said: “It was great. Shopkeepers were coming out of their shops and giving us money. It was a huge success.”
